My Favorite Things! Come Enter To Win Too!

When does school start for you all? I am back this week unofficially to finish setting up my room and officially on August 11th, the following Monday... And officially officially {meaning, the kids comes back} on the next Monday, August 18th. Holy moly, summer! Where did you go? Why do you hate me so much to leave so early? Just plain rude.

Anyway, I'm so excited to be teaming up with some amazing teachers to share my favorite Back To School must-haves! Plus, this gives you a chance to win stuff! Like... Really amazingly awesome good stuff! Eek! I wish I could enter myself, that's how amazingly awesome it is! A huge thank you to Amy from Learning Lessons With Mrs. Labrasciano and Mary from A Classroom Full of Smiles for organizing such a fun Back To School event!

First up is this Back To School Brochure. People, I'm completely in love, head over the heels for this brochure. My good friend Katie from Simply Creative In Kentucky created this and it is a beauty. Normally, I create a packet to send home with my kids (along with other treats and goodies) on Back To School Night. I really loathe making them. It wastes paper and I question if parents read them. If you want to check out her amazing product, click the picture above or below.

I'm pretty sure that GoNoodle saves lives, people. I absolutely love it! Before GoNoodle, came around, I was searching Youtube for appropriate dance videos, praying that nothing inappropriate would pop up and that it was fun. Worry no more! On top of the amazing fun it is for kids, they also provide little mascots and everything. They get the wiggles out with dancing. They get calm with yoga and Flow. In the above picture, my kids are "meditating" to a Flow video. Totally in love and can't wait to use it everyday with my kids this coming year.

My Erin Condren planner, glittery Target planner, Flair pens, and stickers just make me happy. I also love inspirational quotes to fill up my planner. I am a sucker for inspirational quotes. These planners keep my life organized and my Flair pens are the absolute perfect pens. They write in beautiful colors and are very smooth. I hate when ballpoint pens starts to make part of your words look invisible. Drives me crazy and I hope you know what I'm talking about. There's just something about a Flair pen that makes them special and it's the fact that I can write with them comfortably and everything looks professional and pretty.

I just can't live in my classroom without an inviting reading space. I love to read. I love to read in a comfortable position. I love to read with a pillow. I love to read with my dogs. Too bad I can't bring my dogs to school. I don't love to read sitting at a desk. I don't love to be uncomfortable while I read. So, why would I make my students be uncomfortable while they read? The picture on the right is my set-up from last school year at my old school. It was perfect. It was beautiful. The kids adored that area. No, the big bunny didn't stay. He was comfy though. The picture on the left are just my book bins for this coming year. They are pretty and help add some jazz to the reading area as well.

I can't wait to use this product during the first week of school. I am so excited with all the different activities. There's a snapshot scrapbook, About Me craftivity, booklet, and pendant. I am seriously just so excited! If you would like to read more about these fun activities, you can read my friend Katie's post all about it here or my post all about it here. Click below to find it at my tpt store.

How would we teachers survive without effective classroom management strategies. Here are two of my favorites from my classroom. The left is the obvious clip chart that many teachers use. The one on the right is a cookie sheet. Each time my class gets a compliment, we add a cupcake to the cookie pan. Last year at the beginning of the year, we celebrate once we reach six cupcakes. Then, we gradually upgrade to nine and then twelve. I also have smaller cupcakes, but I didn't use those last year. Who knows... Maybe I will this year.

I have a pretty basic wardrobe. I can't live without my comfy flats. If you look closely enough at my shoes, you'll see that I have a thing for glittery shoes. The top left pair are some pinky glittery Sperry's that I picked up at Ross for only $40 last weekend! What? I know! I was excited. I also cannot live without scarves. Yes, I have over 20 scarves. For now. I wear one nearly everyday once fall comes and don't stop until winter is over. That's a lie. I wear them in spring too. Also, I love my new favorite teacher shirt. I picked it up at Mardel. Click here to get it. It is only $5 on sale! Also, I just noticed Mardel is having another education sale on August 9th- in store and online! Woo!

  3. I can't get anything on your giveaway to work. I tried following someone on IG and when I type in my IG name on the giveaway it says "aw shucks we didn't receive your request. Try again." I do but nothing changes. ??

    1. Hi Jayme! I'm not sure why it won't work for you. I also know NOTHING about Rafflecopter. Amy from Learning Lessons with Mrs. Labrasciano actually put it together. Have you tried clicking on any of the other blogs to see if you can enter on their blogs? It's the same giveaway on all the pages so it doesn't matter where you enter! Let me know if that works!
